    An error message of: Uncaught exception: Java.lang.NullpointerException. shows up. How do I resolve this issue.

    P.S. I tried already to remove battery and replace it, didn't work. I tried to open text messaging through contact list, didnt work

    Sounds like a BBOS device. Have you installed anything new recently? If not, it may be time for an OS reload.
