I just recently updated my BB Classic to 10.3.3.1463 and it was going a bit haywire, so I decided to restore to an older backup using the BB Link but when I connect it gives the following error:

Connection Error
There was a problem accessing the drive(s) on this device.
Disconnect and reconnect your device, and try again.

I give disconnected and reconnected my usb a few times but to no avail. I've also un-installed and re-installed BB Link and I even did a factory reset my BB Classic, but still I get the same error.

Any assistance would be much appreciated!

What version of Windows are you using?

Remove all BlackBerry software - LINK, BLEND, DRIVERS
Reboot
Make sure Windows is up to data
Disable all Utilities - Virus, Malware
Download latest version of BLEND (includes LINK and Drivers)
Install as an Administrator
Reboot
Make sure all Utilities are still disabled
Run LINK as an Administrator
Don't use USB3 ports

In the end many have found they just can't get LINK to work.... Me it works just fine on Windows 10. But I've had issues before that didn't get worked out until I reloaded Windows (for other reasons).

Dunt Dunt Dunt, you sir are awesome and a lifesaver!
I followed your steps here except I didn't disable my utilities(kind of old-minded habit to never turn them off.) and I ran both Norton Utilities and CCleaner, to completely remove any remnants of any of the BlackBerry software and presto!
BlackBerry Link and the rest are working again with my Classic, good as new!...Although, I'm still wondering what caused everything to go all haywire. I've never had a problem before with the software with Windows (I run Windows 10 64-bit) but hopefully it doesn't happen again.
