    Can I take this phone to T mobile get them to insert a sim card and switch my service from sprint to t mobile. ( currently have sprint service on another phone)

    It depends if the device is unlocked or not, if not you will have to get it unlocked (price ranges from 20-50)

    As far as I know there is currently no way to unlock a Sprint Q10. You are stuck on Sprint. (See link below). BTW, Sprint tech will tell you their phone is unlocked, but that's Sprint double-speak for "you can use our SIM overseas... with our roaming partners".
