    Hey sandeep,

    Google recently changed their API which caused contact sync to break for devices using the old API. Here's the fix:

    1. Go to Accounts.

    2. Select Add Account.

    3. Select Advanced at the bottom of the screen.

    4. Tap CardDav.

    5. Enter whatever you like for a description, and your Gmail e-mail address for username and e-mail address. Enter your Gmail password for the password.

    6. For the Server Address, enter the following:

    https://www.googleapis.com/.well-known/carddav

    People also occasionally have issues related to 2FA being on or so-called less-secure apps being enabled, so let me know if you have further trouble after following these steps and we'll see what we can do.

    Hey sandeep,

    That link is actually not meant to "open" per se; it is a link pointing to a web API, which is a service that runs in the background to which your device connects to enable services (in this case contact sync).

    As I mentioned above, you will also want to check whether two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled in your Google Account and whether you have "less-secure apps" enabled on your Google Account. 2FA must be turned off and less-secure apps must be turned on for this to work.

    The link has actually changed since earlier this year. Follow the same instructions as above, but use this link for the server address:

    http://www.googleapis.com/carddav/v1...lists/default/

    (Hover your mouse cursor over the link on a PC if you can't see the full address....Crackberry cuts them off for some reason.)
