This is a first, I received a message in the hub on my Passport and the text of message in the hub is red. When I opened it the text and body of the message looked normal.
It is from someone with whom I normally communicate.

    Ideas, thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Cliff

I have never seen that. Do you have this person/email flagged with something?

This contact has been flagged with "Level 1 Alert" status.

Hub > Settings > Priority Hub. Scroll down, and you should see a Rule set for that contact. Tap on it. Under Edit Rule, you'll see a checkbox selected for Enable Level 1 Alert. Level 1 alerts will appear in red text in your Hub.

If you didn't set this, I wonder how it became enabled. This isn't something that can be done accidentally -- it takes several steps to enable.

PIN messages appear in red. Check the from field and see from where the message originated and what kind of message it is.
