I've tried, was the first thing I did, but after a minute or 2, Dtek says it couldn't find the IPhone.....what else can I do or try to have this done.
Appreciate all your help.

If your contacts are in your Hotmail account, they will transfer when you add the account on the iPhone. For pictures, do you have them backed up to any cloud providers? If so, you could move them that way, and would likely be the easiest method, though you could move them by transferring the photos to a PC and then connecting the iPhone to the same computer. You'll get access to the camera folders only, but you can move your photos.

The contents of the SD card could be moved through a cloud provider, but no iOS device has the capability to use an SD card for additional storage.
