    My BlackBerry priv is over heating when it is in use. I need to know how to stop the phone from over heating

    Hello

    Try this. Select settings, storage and USB, internal storage, select Cached data and select OK to clear.
    When it has cleared cache. Right after this ( do not do anything else ) hold power button for 32 seconds at least regardless what screen does. This will simulate a battery pull. Good luck

    All phones produce heat from processor activity and charging. The PRIVs processor seems to heat up more than others though.

    Processor activity increases when playing games, watching videos, installing new apps or updates.
