    Today I got my phone out of my pocket to find that the login window was showing (why I don't know) and it warned me that five attempts to login had failed. Now punching in my code does not lead to any response from my Passport. So basically I am stuck at sixth attempt without being able to unlock my phone. Attempting to update my software via BB website fails as it is not allowed access to a locked phone and hence doesn't recognize my pin. Thankful for any suggestions! (I think I'm on a leaked 10.3.1.2558 version but I can't be sure since I got no access to my phone.)

    do you not read?

    your phone will say "enter 'BlackBerry' to try again", once you do that, you'll have access to your remaining tries

    If others could help themselves properly than I wouldn't need to point out stupidity. It's all to often people rush to forums to get help instead of learning to take the time to help themselves.

    This is the "ask a question" forum. A lot of people come here and really know zip. Cutting slack is OK.

    The reason it asks you to type "Blackberry", I presume, is to be sure you haven't got caplock on etc.
