I have a new 9900 and want to setup my email on it. I have outlook exchange, my own server. What is the easiest way to set it up? Does exchange work on the 9900?

I found the easiest was to log onto the BlackBerry portal my carrier provide with BIS, and enter the account info there and then update service books.

Don't think the phone works with exchange, it works with BIS/BES which in turn works with Exchange and pushes the emails to your phone. There were some 3rd party email apps that worked without a BIS/BES account... PicoMail was one, not sure if it still works or not.

Agreed. The last I remember, using BIS, Outlook Web Access had to be enabled on the Exchange server. Plugging in the address for OWA is what worked.

Still, you only get polling every 15 minutes out of it. True push email doesn't work over OWA.

AstraSync and NotifySync work with EAS. They're pricey though, and some people have had trouble maintaining a connection.
