How send the text messages to particular number

Hi guys I have one doubt I save two or three three numbers in one name contact when I try to send the text messages I just select the contact name it's don't show the number! I don't know messages sending to which number .because I saved the some numbers in one contact name. How send the messages to the particular number?

Just start typing the name of the contact instead and it will prompt you for what number. Nevermind selecting the contact name first.
