android apps eat the hell out of your memory. I am always closing them with TaskManager 1000x a day. Still doesn't help. I finally started deleting the ones I really don't use....

Your system is high, and your bbm is double mine so there is something wrong there ,

What apps are running? This is my Passport running 8 apps. A few are very light, so my memory usage is a bit lower than yours.

It could be a background app. BlackBerry apps are limited to 3mb for headless operations, but Android apps have no such limitation. Even closed android apps can take up RAM. Might just need to reboot every day or two if you don't want to uninstall them.

Keep in mind that you shouldn't worry too much about RAM. The OS will manage it, and will free up any that is needed when opening apps.

Open the Device Monitor. Click the RAM tab. It will list every app currently in RAM. As you can see from the 2 screenshots below I have no android apps "open," but many are running. Mega, PaperKarma, and the Amazon Appstore are all background Android apps.

Go to the memory tab and scroll down, screen shot all the apps that you have open.

When is the last time to turned off the device?

Close all that you can close like Camera, iGrann, Docs2Go, Media Player, etc. To do that, just click on the app then click close.

Definitely close the apps as he mentions.

Next, I would do a soft reset by holding down the volume up and volume down keys for about 10 seconds. This is different than just turning it off and turning it back on. Either way, this will help, especially if you haven't turned it off in over a month since the update.

Whenever you update the OS, it's recommended to restart it one or two times within that first week of loading the OS since it is still settling in.

If that doesn't work, then I would suggest doing a full data/ security wipe and starting over new.

You can back up and restore your photos, contacts, and messages, but I wouldn't back up and restore apps and settings as that may be what's causing the issue.
