    Not good. You'll have to go for what's called a cable unlock--a service such as DM3 unlocking. Provided it even exists for a 9000.

    Definitely more expensive than it would have been to pay for an unlock code.

    Well, I don't think there's any way to unlock it now. Maybe you can find somewhere where they unlock it with special machines but it's going to cost more than unlocking with a code.

    I've heard that once a phone has reached its maximum number of unlock attempts, only BlackBerry can unlock it at that point.
