Hey everyone, i am wondering - how often do you use whatsapp on BlackBerry 10 devices?

Personally use it quite often, cause most of my contact list is there, I was wondering, may be we can create a petition or smth like that for whatsapp to continue support of at least bb10.

Any thoughts?

I don't use WhatsApp, have never used it and I do not have a single contact that uses it. I do not even know anyone who has it on their device. After saying this, I am fully aware that this app is extremely important in many parts of the world, just not mine. Oh, and petitions about this sort of thing are fairly useless, but go ahead and start one if it would make you feel better.

Whatsapp is my main messaging app. Almost all my friends have it. Since they went to secure encrypted messaging though, it hasn't worked as well but I still like it best. If I can't run it on my phone when they quit supporting it, I'll be changing to a different phone.

WhatsApp is essential here in Hong Kong. I use it for social contacts and colleagues and I used it to keep in touch on business trips together.

It is the only social app I use but it has uses far beyond just sending cat photos and pics of restaurant meals.

I would feel lost without it.

You've got no choice here in Spain. Is whatsapp or whatsapp. Even radio stations and TV channels got their dedicated phone number exclusively for whatsapp messages, so no choice really, if you want to be in touch you need whatsapp.

I use Whatsapp everyday and not good enough reason to make a petition for continuous support of it on BB10.
The needed petition is supposed to be to blackberry to ensure BB10 is giving the right attention to draw developers back. However, that would also be useless as blackberry are not ready to play ball the way the developers want.
So no point for any form of petition.

All the time. I'll keep using my classic till the end of the year. After that am gonna check the android version. If I didn't like how it perform in my classic. Then will move to android. If the android version was alright I'll stick with my classic.

I really hope though the bb10 version will keep working

I use it a lot. I go all the way back to the 8320 and never used BBM much, because back then I knew more people on AIM. These days, all family and friends use WhatsApp. I got some to try it on iOS when it first went cross-platform. They dutifully tried, just to humor me, but it performed poorly, and that was that. They have no further use for BBM, and neither have I.

You get one chance to make a first impression, and on iOS it was a bad one.

In contrast, WhatsApp has always worked fine for me, even on w10m.

I like bbm way better than whatsapp. But my nature of job need me to handle a lot of groups and being whatsapp is the most common use IM, it is compulsory for me to have. I have to manage about 60 groups.

Whatsapp has the largest user base and I doubt it when people say none of their contacts use whatsapp. Maybe you just don't know that they use it lol...

Bbm on BlackBerry device is good but it's a pain on android and ios for me.
