Hi Sanjay, I don't think BBM Video Chat functionality is included on the Android BBM App - this functionality isn't mentioned in the blurb in the Google Play App Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...m.bbm&hl=en_GB). I know I haven't been able to BBM Video Chat with Android phones before (but BBM Voice works excellently on Android, much better voice quality in low bandwidth areas than WhatsApp Voice).

BBM already makes video calls between BB10 devices. We are all just waiting for the functionality to do BBM video calls from BB10 to IOS or Android. Android and IOS can make BBM video calls between them. It is just BB10 to another platform that is lacking at the moment. We all hope it will be soon.

In order to use BBM video, just pick the contact (who has a BB10 device and the latest BBM version). You will see in the top right corner, there should be three GREEN buttons (icons). The first one is the private chat (icon looks like glasses), the next one is for video chat (icon looks like a video camera) and the last one is just voice chat (icon looks like a phone). Hit the video chat button and wait for them to answer.

Sanjay, THIS ^^^^^^^^^ from JuiciPatties (who has kindly written a very clear explanation, far more elegantly than I ever could).

I regularly use BBM (both BBM Voice & BBM Video Chat) on an OS10<->OS10 basis to speak to clients. Most of my clients seem to prefer to use BBM Voice more often than BBM Video Chat.

WeChat, Skype

WeChat has similar features as BBM just more consistent

BBM on android does have video chat between android and ios and vice versa. It's only BB10 that doesnt allow for video chat across other platforms.
