For How Long Deleted Messages/Photos Remain on BBM Servers?

I am using BBM on my Android since last one week. I want to ask:-
1. For how long deleted / extracted / timed messages and photos remain on BBM servers?
2. Does timed messages / photos saved on Android/Ipad/Device internal memory (both sender and recipient)?
3. If chat history is deleted, is it deleted from device momory(both sender and recipient) / bbm server or it takes time?

BlackBerry would retain those messages in accordance to local laws. If they are required to retain for 4 years, 3 years, 30 days, they would retain as such and delete them afterwards. How do you think they can comply with local authorities when they provide a court order to hand over the messages.
