    Can anyone explain, how to hard reset Z30 and Passport, for how many seconds or till when, read it and advised it many times but still the time period not very clear
    Thanks for wonderful hospitality throughout.

    Hard reset is done by holding both volume buttons until phone restarts.

    So you hold down both volume up and down buttons for a period (7-10 secs ~) until phone shuts down, you should be able to see the screen turning off and on again showing a successful restart.

    Yes
    Done with my Z30, it did it fine, did it with my passport, kept on holding the volume up and down button for around 2 mins, it was alighting with BlackBerry written and goes of and it kept repeating for the whole 2 minutes, after which I released my fingers from the volume buttons,
    What is wrong with my Passport and how to make it work

    Only do it for 10 seconds... If you hold for 2 mins it will keep on hard resetting until you let go.
