my screen stilol comes on but dosent do any thing when i try to touch it and acess anything just like its living dead

Hold the power button down until the phone reboots by itself.

After that, you'll have to try an autoloader.

So you can pull the battery and it reboots but the screen will not work?

Are you sure your screen isnt broken? Z10' screen when broken seems to be non-responsive . If otherwise; make use of an autoloader as suggested.

a small crack in those displays render anything below it unusable.might wanna check that, easy fix 10-15 bucks and 5-10 minutes with no skill. etradesupply or ebay if you can find quick shipping options

You could try a hard reset. Hold down both volume buttons until the BlackBerry logo pops up.
