[CrackBerry Question]

I can't seem to find an answer that actually helps with my phone.
I have a z10 stl1003. I upgraded to one of the 10.3.1 versions with an autoloader from the forums. It kept factory resetting if I accidentally dropped it with the case on. No physical damage ever shows, it just does it as if it's trying to protect from something happening. Similar stuff has happened with the phone before I upgraded the os, but it only reset, it never factory reset.
I have tried using blackberry link, the update feature on the phone, and the website with no success. It always says it's the current os version no matter what version is installed.
I just want to get rid of the phone at this point.
