Has anyone tried the SeaGate Wireless Plus with their Playbook? I have an Android tablet (Nexus 7), which has an app for it (Seagate Media), but I love my Playbook more and would love to use it. How do you connect it? I can connect using the WiFi, but how do I access the files?

It requires Android 4.0 and up.....

That is the problem.... the Android Runtime on the PlayBook is STUCK at I think 2.3.3. While that was fine three years ago, today I imagine there are very few apps written for less than 4.0 as the number of devices that are lower than than in the markets these apps are written for are very small. You have to see if there are any options for enabling a SMB Server and use a file exploer app like ES File Explore.

Can't get it to work with the older model or newer one.. I believe Scalemaster is correct.

The app may not work but it should open up in the browser!

Packing for a vacation so I will dust off the playbook and see if it works, maybe I can keep myself entertained on the flight.
