I've a 2011 W204, with NTG 4 (popup nav), my Z10 syncs everytime no problem.

But everything else after that is total crap, to be honest:

    - Anyone I've talked to while driving says they can just barely hear me, I can hear them fine (I've tried cranking the volumes to max on both the phone and the car)

    - Phone book import is non existant, aside from the transfer of 1 contact at a time (still doing all the reading on that issue)

    - I have rSap enabled on the phone, but I am not sure how to get text messages showing up on my Comand screen

    Is the w204 a c class?

    I've tried my z30 on both the 2014 c300 and the b250.

The c300 with. Navigation worked well and could immediately see my texts and contacts.

The b250 did not have navigation, though it imported my contacts but couldn't read my texts.

I didn't have to do anything other than sync with bluetooth.

Good luck, maybe talk to the dealership

Yes W204 is C-Class, Should have been specific C300

I imagine being a 2014 the Comand Online would work quite well, I know the car hasn't had the Comand updates done since it was manufactured, not sure if rSap was a thing in 2010-2011?

Could be the car needs the update to work with newer phones, something I tried to tell the dealership when buying the car, but they told me they don't do updates 'unless something is broken/doesn't work' ... this may qualify!

    Maybe needs the updates.

I have the standard Command 20 in a 2013 GLK. No problems. It even imported the +1700 contacts.

Mic volume not a problem. Callers usually don't even know i'm on hands free.
When you paired the phone, did you het the question on your phone to confirm that you were pairing to a Mercedes?

    Thanks for the reply,

Yes, but I have been reading about letting the phone find the car, as opposed to the car finding the phone... something about it not setting the correct properties for the available functions.

Otherwise the phone looks good, even has the little 'you're using a merc' icon and stuff on the lock screen

I guess the only thing I can suggest is to delete the phone in the car and the car from the phone.

Re-do the pairing. It doesn't matter if you have the phone search or the car. It works both ways.

Well I tried just now, deleted each from each other

I re-paired, and again it worked perfectly.

Except I hit the rSap on my Z10, and it shows my 2 email addresses and SMS/MMS turned on, but not connected

So for some reason the car isn't pulling that capability from the phone I think

    I'm stumped
