I have downloaded the game played a little now I need to update it, I downloaded it through amazon app store but now it does not give me the option to update the game.....please help

I do see often a disconnect between an app version on Amazon as compared to the same app on Google Play, generally the Google Play version being newer.
If its a paid app from Amazon, you will need to wait and see.
If it's a free-app, you can use Snap to download it from Google Play. Most of the time the app will work fine.
If you are up to it, you can also try to install a patched version of Google Play on your Z30 via the links and instructions here:
