I need to turn on airplane mode because I am travelling. However, I still want to get internet. I read that in airplane mode I can "turn on" wifi. How do I do that?

Swipe down with two fingers from the top. Put device is airplane mode. Do the same thing and turn on wifi.

Make sure you do it in the order Ray mentions. If you turn on WiFi first and then turn on Airplane mode it will shutoff all your connections, BT, WiFi, NFC...
