I am planning to buy a used BB 9900. How do I tell if it was used much or not? It looks quite new.
Also Im new to BB, how do I tell if its 4g version? Is that newer?
Is there a way to see the total call log?
Thank you.

may i ask why you dont want a new BB10? theyre great!
There is a way, but if they wiped the phone or installed a leak, the whole call log gets erased so maybe it's not that useful.

I think you can tell under the phone settings. If they restored the phone, or cleared it in any way. The call log probably got wiped too. Just check the phone for scratches and dents. That's really the only way to tell how used a phone is. And that doesn't always tell you ( could be in a case, or the screen was replaced)

With regards to 4G , the BlackBerry Bold 9900 does NOT have 4G, it only has 3G. Keep that in mind. All BB10 devices have 4G (except the Z3)
As others have said, if the devices was "Factory Reset" or if a OS was side loaded ect then everything will be wiped. Best thing is to have a look at the condition of the device, this is generally a good indication as to how used a device is.
Consider purchasing a Q5 or Q10. They awesome.
