I have run the "switch phones" part of the BlackBerry desktop software, and it has backed up my 9900. It asked me to disconnect it and plug in the Q10. I have done so, but its not showing up as a connected device. The phone is charging but it wont allow me to switch to the Q10. What should I do next? Thanks!

Edit: Seems as though it's not recognizing the Q10 on my computer. I am on Windows 8.1

Does BlackBerry Link recognise your Q10 on the same Windows 8.1 machine?

Make sure all the services are running on your computer and you can fiddle about in phone settings to see if that fixes it. If not reinstalling link has always worked for me

I have reinstalled link, but that doesn't seem to be working. When I plug my phone it, it seems to go into night mode or something and start charging, but doesn't recognize on the computer. Not sure what else to do at this point :S

What OS version do you have on the phone?

If it's 10.2.x you should have BlackBerry Link in Settings. Is BlackBerry Link enabled in Settings on the phone?

There's a method where you can delete the drivers you can try that but I forgot how to do it
