[CrackBerry Question]

I was gifted a brand new Porsche Design P'9981 at an event, even though it is pretty outdated, it still seems unique so i want to replace my current iPhone 4S with the Blackberry. However, when i insert the Sim card and click on the email set up i only see enterprise account account and no Gmail or Yahoo options. Upon further digging i found out i actually require a BIS package so i try to register but i get an error saying "temporary error" on the BIS website. When i open BBM it says it has been blocked by the service provider but this phone is factory unlocked, everything shows disabled in the SIM (MEPD) settings. Is there a workaround to this? Can i set up Gmail without paying for BIS (my company uses google apps so i dont require any special enterprise set up). Is there any way i can also enable BBM?
