I've used BlackBerrys exclusively for 11 years. My 5 year old Bold just died and I am bewildered by the KeyOne - so many simple features are gone. Even saving photos is more complicated - all I see is "Shared Album" - and then how would I name them or rename the photos? (assuming I could find the name). Is an iPhone easier to use?

Get yourself a good file manager like Solid Explorer.

Instead of being forced to use a specific lowest common denominator app, you can choose from dozens or hundreds on Play Store.

Try VLC for music and video, and QuickPic or Piktures for photos.

An iPhone is generally easier to use, because it's a walled garden and it's Apple's way or the highway. I equate it to a toaster with a single button - "make toast". Android lets you make hundreds of varieties of breads, thousands of different ways.

Piktures is good for viewing images and creating albums.

I use Solid Explorer. To rename a photo there, open your folder where the picture is, press down on the thumbnail to highlight it. Then hit the menu key in the right top corner. A menu of options open, including the Rename option.
