I'm getting ready to sell my SQC100-2 and want to make sure it is not locked to any network. However, I don't have a non-ATT SIM card to test.

The SIM card settings page shows "Network Subset Unlocked" and "Service Provider Unlocked." However, there is still an Unlock Network button on that page, and I read on this forum that if the button is there the phone is not actually unlocked.

Can someone shed some light on this - do the "Unlocked" references above mean the device is unlocked or does the presence of the Unlock button mean it is not unlocked?

I too wonder this as my AT&T Passport state the exact information you listed.

So it's confusing, if it says network and service provider unlocked, then why is the option there to click Unlock Network.

Go to settings- security and privacy- sim card, then scroll down. If all 3 say "unlocked" and not "unlock" then it's an unlocked device
