It's a pain in the rear end that every 5 mins if have to wake it up to do somthing on it really gets annoying especially if I'm in a hurry so how can I ajust my PB so it don't doze off?

you can't. 5 minutes is maximum time it can be set to. is it really that difficult to swipe up to wake it?

You could keep it plugged in. I have a dock that keeps the screen lit up while it's charging. I've never timed it, but it certainly feels like it stays on for more than 5 minutes. The music or podcast I'm playing continues even if the screen's gone dark when it's not plugged in, so I don't think I've noticed the same behaviour.
