    I tried in all the way by installing whatsapp, but it is downloading and shows app on my play book but it is not working.

    You know your playbook is not a cellphone, right?

    Anyway, you probably have the file for a newer Android version. You're gonna have to look for a Whatsapp version which supports the Playbook's outdated Android runtime (2.3 maybe? I could be wrong).

    If the playbook has the app world, you should be able to download it from there...
