I've tried through sync and Playbook says there is connection failure, however, I'm able to receive my mail and texts on the Playbook as well as my Blackberry 9900. I have updated everything and even had the Playbook attached to my laptop by cord. Last thing I tried was to put music file in my Dropbox and then when I went to 'File Manager' I found the zip file. When I opened it, I was told it went to a file that I cannot find. ( '/accounts/1000/shared/downloads/(name of file)

Most the time I just synced it using LINK - USB cable usually worked better than Wi-Fi.

But I also used mass storage mode at times so that my PlayBook showed up as a Drive on my computer.

Note don't remember if the PlayBook could handle Zip files natively or not? Did you tried just the mp3 files? Or a 3rd party app like Files and Folders that could unzip a file.
