    hi guys!
I'm using a passport SE with and I wanna use BBM.
I'm able to use it with WIFI (campus WLAN) because I get the 4 dots next to my WIFI Network symbol. If I switch WIFI off and try to use my cellular data connection I don't have the 4 dots and I can't use BBM. I did the network registration in the settings and it says that my device is registrated.

Any ideas? Thank you for your answers.

I've checked the SIM settings and IT says: Service Alias : BlackBerry 10 WIFI only
I think that is something to work with.

And I think It worked earlier with an other provider, but I'm not sure cause I use this phone since 2 years and ther was no need for BBM yet. Just tried BBM when I got the phone

I have a feeling that this is due to the carrier provisioning list inside the OS. It's come up before so I'll just paste my last response:

Inside the OS is a list entailing what to do for each provider; using a provider that isn't in that list causes issues, like in this thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...-code-1097247/

Even MVNOs (i.e. what you have) are in the list. I uploaded the list as of to Pastebin (it's big), see if you can find your carrier there: [XML] carrierIds.xml - Pastebin.com

If it's not there then that might be the issue.
The only Austrian carriers in the list are Telering (MCC 232/MNC 007), 3 (232/010), Vodafone (232/001), T-Mobile (232/003) and 3/Orange (232/005). SPUSU (232/017) isn't in the list. If the carrier you tried before was one of those five and it worked then, that's probably the issue. As for a solution, you'd need either a new phone, a new carrier, or BlackBerry to update BB10 to add more carriers to the list; those choices are arranged in decreasing feasibility.

    Thanks man.
My carrier can't change anything at this situation? I mean, SPUSU runs under the carrier of 3.

If they poke and prod BlackBerry to ask to get in the list, and if BlackBerry puts them in the list, and if that list gets included in a future OS build, and if that build gets sent over the air as an update, then it'll work. Given the vitality or lack thereof of the OS, it's doubtful.

I had the same problem. The only thing you can do is, unfortunately, change your provider... these kind of problems come up with sub-carriers like yours. They lack the services that BB needs in order to use stuff like BBM and BlackBerry Protect.
