    In a conference call, there's only one line. The initiator controls the line. Once you merge calls, each person has to hang up the line to be removed individually.

    What I usually do. Is have the person who you want off the conference call to hang up. Then your only with the person you want to continue talking to. Simple.

    If I'm not mistaken you hear a beep when they're off the call.

    After they hang up the call kind of hangs in the background. I cannot initiate another conference call from there.

    BTW I am on VZW Z10STL100-4/10.2.1.3253

    Did the AT&T support document help? It lists a way (after the last screenshot) that should allow you to drop an individual caller.
