I have to downgrade official 10.3.1 because my wifi range is very poor. BB Q10. I cannot work.
The Quality of the Blackberry...

No. Not everybody. The ones that are having issues are posting about it, but the vast majority don't have any issue.

And most of the issues could be fixed by a simple reboot or just waiting for the phone to settle down.

I've been running leaks since forever and all my issues were easily resolved. So I can't believe an official update will destroy your phone.

believe it or not 10.3.1 has Wifi issues. that's the poor fact. maybe not on your phone, but on a couple / lot others. Don't put others as 'Idiots' only since u can't imagine that others have a problem.

My Z10 also needs a lot of bugs to be fixed. Battery aldo drain quick. Apps not working or does not start up. This is big issue...!!

Lol I've been on 10.3.1 for awhile now and love it. The little bugs it has is nothing really. NO os is perfect

BBM needed an update (from18/12/14) after the os update (19/2/15)...is it normal what you think? It (BBM update and newest version) must be included in new os! Blend and Link have a lot of issues on win7...and so on...not normal at all!

habs_fan, a proper Wi-Fi is an minimum requirement for a nowadays OS in my view. I don't want to stroll around when traveling and search for a good reception or stand in the hotel in the lobby under the sender and do my work. it might be a lol if u don't need it but for business I would say Wi-Fi is quite some necessary item.

Yeah battery does discarge quickly. I mean I am @ 54% now after taking off the charger on Thursday @ 5:49pm. Horrible Battery life now.

I manage a large number of Z10s and Z30s, and have never seen any WiFi issues.

you wanna swap phones? I can tell you there are issues. I also never had problems until I updated on Thursday to 10.3.1.1565 official release. you'd invited to come over and bring one of your phones.

I'm not suggesting you're not having issues, I'm just saying it's not endemic to OS 10.3.1 in general. As WiFi technology changes, improvements designed to help the highest percentage of people can sometimes be at the expense of a small number of people.

Maybe you'll get better results at home if you try another WiFi channel or frequency on your router. It's worth a shot.

All fine with me. Only issue I had was with BBM on a Z10 which turned out to be using an old version of BBM. As others have mentioned you might need a reboot a couple of times.
So far have it working really well on 6 of my families BlackBerry phones, Q5 x 2, Z10 x 2, Z30 x1 and Q10.
Really love the extra features. Well done BlackBerry

Granted. But not many people would start a thread entitled "WiFi working great on 10.3.1". It's always hard to get an accurate percentage assessment from a forum.

Anyway, good luck on finding a solution that works for you.

My q5 won't load 10.3.1 I've tried everything including security wipe! My Q5 is now stuck with 10.2.0 so like many others we now need 10.2.1

Thanks blackie , but it is not just BBM. But my Passport changes the notifications from vibrate only to normal after every phonecall I have... z10 doesn't do this even with the new os. And passport didn't do this with 10.3
So this os is cr@p unfortunately...a lot...a lot of bugs and issues! I hate it now! I loved my z10 and I just started to love my passport but now even I don't want to see the at all!

Hi -- if you are a doctor and is now using the 10.3.1 with low sounds -- you have to hear their plight of missed emergency calls and alerts !! -- I have few friends who are doctors and are all going crazy and have down graded to 10.2.1.3062 till this gets fixed -- I am 24 hrs call person -- You wont believe how many calls I have missed
