I have a certain contact that I need to receive texts from throughout the workday, but need to keep My phone on silent @ the same time, any way to accomplish both tasks?

Or if its not silent mode specifically is there a way to do it with the volume all the way down? Thx

Provided you OS is up to date you should be able to locate the contact in question in your contacts app, click edit, and click Ring Tone and notifications. From within that menu there is an option for 'sound' wich by default is set to 'profile setting' but can be changed to either 'on' or 'off'

I haven't tested this, but I assume it should acomplish exactly what you're asking.
