[CrackBerry Question]

I downloaded netflix and livecast to stream on your my TV via wifi.

I tried other casting apps but all failed.

I have a wifi hdmi dingle from chrome cast in my TV and connected to my wifi network

I'm lost st how to cast using my BlackBerry z30

I'm not sure exactly which features are supported on a Z30 and how - eg how to setup/configure DLNA / Miracast - but I know someone who reckons that their Z30 Miracast is very good for streaming video (not patchy, doesn't buffer, good images and sound).

When I try to stream video from my Q10 using either the DLNA connection or Miracast to the TV via an LG Blu-Ray player, the video and sound are both very patchy - but I had always assumed that this was a network/TV issue, as opposed to my Q10 not functioning correctly.
The 'fiddly bit' for me, has always been at the TV / Blu-Ray player end, the Q10 side of things is really easy.

I regularly connect to DLNA Projectors for presenting slide shows (no sound) and this always works fine - though again, the stress is always in configuring the projector, and not the Q10 (sometimes you have to stand on a table to press buttons on a ceiling mounted projector, as the remote control doesn't have the functionality to set up for DLNA!).

Have a search for Miracast on the forums here, I know that there were a lot of threads and hints & tips posted last year

I prefer to use one of the Miracast dongles.
Two that I have tried and both work are
- The Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter
- Netgear PTV3000

They both work fine on both my Z30 and the Passport.
The Microsoft one would be my preference.

They let you share whatever is showing on your screen.
