    It depends on your carrier.

    Typically GSM carriers, you have to go in the phone app and block your number from there.

    If it's a CDMA carrier, you put a code before the number.

    Now for your info, there is no real way to block your number cause it's always possible to identity you, if needed.

    Go to phone, swipe from the top and click settings.

    Then click show my number. Then turn that setting off.

    Do note that none of these solutions may be available to you if your country's laws do not permit what you're trying to do. India, for example, doesn't let you do this unless you have legal dispensation.

    *67 also works in the US.
