how to check the battery health of key 2
If you don't want to use an app, open your phone dialer and dial *#*#2637643#*#* ("ANDROID"), then choose Battery Info. You'll get a screen like this:
Attachment 446091
Additionally, you can download one of the thousands of battery health apps like AccuBattery - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...es.accubattery
What the battery level refers to. For example it show 6 on mine? So what should i understand?
It's the percentage.
Percentage of the present charge of the battery, isnt it?
I mean if battery is full, it should show 100 ?
I would like to ask one thing.
I am looking for to buy used key 2, in order to understand battery quality i have focused on the battery voltage to give me some idea about Condition of the battery.

2-4340 mv -100/100 and 4100 mv - 6/100
3- 4405 mv - 100/100 - no daya eith low battery
With the above informations what can we say about the battery health of each phone?
Awaiting your knowledge based help And comments.
Thabks jn advance
Did you already purchase ?
Not yet, trying to make a decision, however i void to have dead battery in my hand
Don't worry about the battery. Pick the one with the smoothest keyboard. Focus on the spacebar.
Space bar, keyboard, prd (variant of the phone) and cosmetix are checked and it is time to xheck the condition of the battery.
Is there any one technically knows the battery issue , at least enough to give me some tips?
Just buy the device and replace the battery if necessary. If you're getting a good price or not, battery replacement is eventually necessary and small price
I do not understand why your intention is not to answer. If you do not know anything about the asked question, just say that you do not have any idea.
I am asking to who knows anything about this matter.
My idea simply that I have no idea about testing battery and that it doesn't matter. All Key2 were produced some time ago so even new in box isn't meaningful even if you found that last device manufactured unused.
I am fully agree with your comment about the replacement of the battery. This is easy solution; However, I just want to learn something new, if anybody knows. It really sticked to my mind.
This didn’t work on a KEYone. It just clears the dialer input like you haven’t entered any numbers yet.
You wouldn’t think there would be a difference between the two for the battery health screen…
Any assistance would be appreciated. Google searches pull up nothing.

This doesn’t work on a KEYone.
Anyone know how to pull up the battery health menu on a KEYone?
Thank you.
Just run Accubattery for a few charging cycles and it will tell you.

That's what I ended up having to do.
I'm just surprised the KEYone doesn't have (or doesn't allow access to) the system menu that the KEY2 does...

Well, it's hard to experience any emotion at all (surprise or otherwise) over a 5 year old phone stuck 5 OS versions behind.
Missed my point.. The two phones are nearly the same and both run Oreo as the latest supported OS. Makes little sense that the KEY2's native battery health menu can be accessed through the dialer and KEYone has no such functionality.

If I had a dollar for everytime a company does something that makes no sense....
But that the KEY2 has a "feature" that the KEYone doesn't.... does sorta make some sense. If the reverse were true, I'd agree it doesn't make any sense.
My guess is if your using a seven year old phone... it's battery health has seen better days. Install the suggested app, and then decide if it's even worth a new battery.
