    I have a few old blackberry backups and have been trying like crazy to access them on os 10.12. I tried a program called blackberry extractor, it wouldn't work on my computer. I then tried blackberry desktop manager, it can't open the files. I thought I might be able to connect my old *** bold and re-up load that backup on to there then access the files...that didn't work either. I also tried changing it to .zip file but that didn't fool it. Any ideas?

    i think ipd files are the backup files from desktop manager for BB on Mac, right? unzipping and trying to read them won't work. The info contained in them is all locked up in one file. You need to reload it on a phone but since you said bb desktop manager didn't work, i think it's all lost
