    So I downloaded and installed Whatsapp via their site but upon startup I get a message stating that "whatsapp can not be started without google play services, which are not supported on your device". Any tips ?

    I have whatsapp on my classic and ive never had that message,what device are you using?

    The usual advice is to tap beside the message - does that work?
