    How can i tell if photos are on an SD card or device memory?

    Go to File Manager. If you press 3 lines at bottom left (see example in attachment) it will give you option to choose Device or Media Card.

    Go into the file manager and click on photos,

    If there's photos in the photos folder on your divice, they are on your phone memory. If there's only photos in your photos folder on your SD, they are on your SD
