    Does anyone know how I turn off the volume for all of my messages but leave my ringer on for my BlackBerry Key2

    Just turn off notification volume, but leave ringer phone on.

    This doesnt work for me. This is exactly how I have those settings, but I still cant turn off sounds from my text messages and other messages, while my ring volume is on.

    Could there be something that needs to be changed in other settings?

    Make sure the individual apps are respecting the system notification settings.

    In fact, just go into your settings, notifications, and turn off the offending apps there.
