Recently, I restored my unlocked Z30 to factory settings. Since then, my Facebook Friends list will not show up in my contacts list. I have the Facebook account turned on in the contact list settings. Some of my contacts show a Facebook address, but I cannot get the contact to sync with the Facebook account. I have deleted and reinstalled Facebook twice since reinstalling the OS with no effect. Any ideas?
Have you tried performing a hard reset on your device? If the Facebook contacts are turned on in Contacts Settings, they should sync.
I have done a hard reset a few times, but I will try it again. Just to make sure, I am doing a hard reset by holding down the power button until the device shuts off and the BlackBerry screen is displayed. Please let me know if the procedure is different. Thank you.
I also did a security wipe after backing up my Z30, but I am still having the same problem. I cannot find a way to get Facebook to sync with the Contacts app. All the settings look to be correct.
You have to link them together if it doesn't automatically.
