That depends... but you should be able to check under Folders, and there should be a Drafts folder.
What type of email account do you have? POP, IMAP, Active-Sync....
Won't help recover an existing draft, but it might be that you need to delete your account and recreate it in order for drafts to be saved automatically.
Go to hub click on the email or message and you will see the unfinished mail you didn't complete. Click on it and complete it then send it.
