My phone is in a very weird state. I cannot back up because I don't know my BlackBerry ID or password. I'd like to create a new ID but my phone always says, enter the first ID used on this phone. So I'm going to wipe the phone, but I want to keep contacts, anyway I can do this without blackberry link? I have a z10.

Are your contacts synced to an email account by chance. Like gmail or hotmail?

Use Contact X or just don't worry about it if you have an email address associated with your phone like hotmail as when you enter the email address and password, your contacts come back. Why don't you just get a BlackBerry id?

Or just select all your contacts and send them over bluetooth to another device or a bluetooth capable PC.
