I have tried out manything to make gmail run on the hub of bb10 OS.
    1) going simply add account>email, calender and contacts
    it takes me to gmail.
    >asks for id and password
then stucks at Saving and verifying your email settings for around 5-10 minutes and then ends up in error saying "At this time your email account can't be added. Please try again later."

    2)going to add account>Advanced>Gmail
    used credential from google
    (default were same too)
    >gmail asks for id and password
    >saving and verifying your settings stuck for 5-10 mins and then ends up in error saying "The server imap-gmail-com for your account (Imap Email: Gmail- myemailid@gmail_com) is not responding. PLS check your settings and try again."

    3) Using microsoft Exchange active sync
    Found this on youtube
This thing works and take it finally to the hub. But unfortunately the hub says "Gmail failed to respond" and doesnt sync or show any mail.

Now please throw a working process to sync gmail if you want to see the future of blackberry hub

Do you have two-step verification enabled in Gmail?
You'll need to generate an app-specific password in Google Settings and use it for the Hub.

It's possible that Google security is interpreting unusual activity on your account and has blocked the access from the device. You can try the captcha to unlock it.
