We have the same unit and as far as my experience is concern, it can't be deleted up to the 3rd page. It's like a default thing.

Suggestion : for browser bookmarks, choose "Add to home screen " them drag and drop them on the 3rd page. Dedicate that page to web icons - super fast web access.

OR - use a shortcut creator type app and put your Speed Dial contacts all on that page with their own icons - fast dial access to key contacts / multiple icons for home/work/cell for key contacts.

Depends on which 10.3 Os you're on. The earliest leak didn't have this option, I think it only got added in 10.3.1.

Go to settings, then display, then turn off "show wallpaper when all apps are closed"

Just to confirm, last or first? Last would be a bug, first there is an option under settings > display.
