When I had a PRIV it got hot with Bootup, Charging and sometimes with usage...One of the reasons I traded it in
Even with a case it was making my hands sweat
The CPU seems to run at full speed all the time...bad CPU governor I guess would be fixed with root but it's unrootable according to BB

My wife finds if she slides up the keyboard when it is hot it will cool down faster.
Last night mine was heating at 117 degrees very hot.
