I do get a sound as a text comes in just not a phone call.Checked do not disturb is off , i have checked all settings to normal- a message comes up when some one rings with a musical note with a line through it and also an option to send some one a message to say your not answering as you are busy etc...
New to Blackberry. Classic wont ring. I think I have it on normal.
Go into your System Settings and then Notifications. Make sure your Active Profile is set to Normal.
Check that the volume control slider is loud enough for you to hear it.
Below the slider you can choose a different default Ringtone.
At the bottom, you can also set different Ringtones for individual Contacts. Make sure the person who is trying to call you has a Ringtone and volume set that plays when you test it.
