    My z10 switched itself off the other day after having a full charge and I cannot switch it back on, I have replaced the battery but still to no avail, please help as I have valuable documents and 1000s of photos stored on the handset

    Have you tried removing the battery and plugging it in to a PC via the USB cable and then trying to start? If that works immediately back your data before doing anything else.
