Help! An error popped up a third of the way into my factory reset!
So I've got an AT&T Passport, I updated it to 10.3.3.2205(something like that?) as soon as it came out. I've had it for a year and a half now.
It was a normal day. I ran errands, came home, listened to music on it, texted friends and what not... and then out of the blue, my phone won't send messages. I think nothing of it and reset the Hub. That usually works, right?
Nope. It's not just that messages are still not going through.. Now apps aren't even loading in the task manager screen. I can't swipe to my Hub. The upper right corner just beside the front-facing camera is heating up like mad. I restart it a dozen times. It's getting late so I just turn it off and plug it in to charge hoping things would be different in the morning.
Big fat nope. I plug it into my computer thinking that I should backup if it's even possible. My Passport doesn't even register. It's still malfunctioning. After several more restarts and failures to backup, my pis aller is to try to send it back to factory settings. Looked good thus far... I see it loading, saying things like "security wipe" and "erasing all data" or some things along those lines.
A third of the way the screen goes blank and a dreaded yellow triangle with a black exclamation point pops up and just beneath it says "www.bberror.com/bb10-0010". I freak out, I go to the site, follow the links... and there was nothing about this issue that could help me posted.
Now I'm here. Is my Passport past saving? Is there anything I can do to get it working again? Or do I need to run out and grab a new phone altogether?
Please help! Thank you!
